Truth and Consequence
It's not easy being green
Did you know that blue-green algae--or rather cyanobacteria, was among the first life-forms to produce oxygen on planet earth? Cyanobacteria harnessed photosynthesis to create our oxygenated atmosphere. Now, 3.5 billion years later, cyanobacteria provides us with an apt metaphor for the failings of the Trump regime.
Fun fact: shallow pools painted a dark color will warm quickly. Almost anyone with a pond, a kiddie pool, or even an automobile with a dark interior, can predict this.
A warm, shallow body of biologically-rich water will rapidly turn green thanks to cyanobacteria and other microscopic life forms.
Science:
Green is green, no matter how much someone insists it is blue.
Concentrated hydrogen peroxide is a paint stripper. No surprise that it damages or kills wildlife.
The truth matters. How fitting that nature in the form of cyanobacteria is both a stubborn consequence and a powerful truth-teller, one that is impossible to ignore.
We learn this from our great teacher, cyanobacteria, right here at home.
